The closest airport to Sorrento is Naples Capodichino, about 50 km from Sorrento. The airport is connected to the major Italian and foreign locations. From Naples airport to get to Sorrento, just take a Curreri bus at the airport exit and in just under an hour you can stop in one of the towns on the Sorrento Peninsula.

If you want to reach Sorrento cheaply and quickly, choose to travel by train. All you need to do is get from all the main cities of Northern or Southern Italy to Naples Central Station – Piazza Garibaldi, where you will have two alternatives. Once you reach the station in Naples you will have to take the underpass located at the exit of the station itself and head towards the Circumvesuviana; from here every half an hour or so a train passes which in an hour takes you to Sorrento or to the other neighboring towns of the Sorrento Peninsula. Alternatively, if you travel between April and October you can reach us via the Campania Express, a fast and comfortable train with air conditioning and guaranteed seats, which reaches the center of Sorrento with just a few stops.

Whether coming from the North or the South, if you want to reach Sorrento by car, you must follow the signs for the A3 motorway which connects Naples to Salerno and take the Castellammare di Stabia exit. From here take the state road 145 SS Sorrentina: just travel along the entire coast and after passing the towns of Seiano, Meta di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello you will finally arrive at the splendid Sorrento.

From Sorrento it is possible to reach the following tourist locations by sea both outward and return: Capri, Ischia, Procida, Positano, Amalfi using hydrofoils or ferries made available by various shipping companies such as Alilauro, NLG, Caremar.
